  Cell adhesion is a key interaction between cells and their surrounding environment and is essential to biological functions such as cell migration, proliferation, and signal transduction. Measuring and understanding cell adhesion forces is therefore an important subject in the study of cell behavior and physiological processes. In recent years, advances in cell adhesion force measuring instruments have provided powerful tools for this field.

  1. Regular cleaning

  Clean the touchscreen: use a dedicated touchscreen cleaner and soft cloth to prevent scratches and dirt buildup from affecting touch sensitivity.
  2. Software updates
  Update the system regularly: follow the manufacturer's update schedule for the instrument operating system and application software to obtain new features and fixes for known issues.
  Back up data: before any software update, back up important data and settings to prevent data loss or system configuration errors.
  3. Mechanical component inspection
  Inspect the sensor: regularly check the adhesion-force sensor cable and connector for looseness or damage. Contact the manufacturer promptly for service if an abnormality is found.
  Inspect the lifting stage: ensure that the automatic stage moves smoothly without binding. Apply an appropriate amount of lubricant periodically to reduce wear and the risk of failure.
  4. Storage-condition control
  Temperature and humidity: store the instrument in a dry, well-ventilated environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Optimal storage conditions are 10-35℃ and relative humidity no higher than 80%.
  Dust and moisture protection: cover the instrument when not in use to prevent dust and moisture from entering its internal circuitry.
  5. Regular calibration
  Calibration interval: professional calibration is recommended once a year to ensure measurement accuracy. Users may perform simple self-calibration, but comprehensive calibration should be completed by a professional.
  Calibration method: calibrate with standard weights or a reference sample of known adhesion force, recording and correcting measurement deviation. Contact after-sales service promptly if the issue cannot be resolved independently.
